Nice to see the Jays actually winning a game in Tampa. Doesn't happen to often

I'm also pleased with Drabek's start. Any time you can get through 6 with only 2 runs against, you're going to win most of the time.

He does need to learn to be a bit more efficient though.

What a mess of an inning for the Rays.

All about walks with Drabek, his control has to be better. Walked 6 and had 3 wild pitches. He has the stuff to bail himself out though.

Great slide by Bautista to break up the double play and score another run. Cordero in for the 8th. He's pitched well since being demoted from closer. This will be his highest leverage position to pitch in since. Let's hope he can have a quick effective 8th.

It's nice to see Cordero pitch well...I felt bad for him with his recent struggles.

If Casey can close it down in the 9th we gain a full game on 4 out of 5 AL East teams tonight. It's far to early to be scoreboard watching but I can't help myself

Love this Drabek tweet after the game

Great win for the boys tonight.. Tough to root for 6 walks but it'll get better.. Great defense and Jeff did a hell of a job blocking balls

Mathis has been great behind the plate this year for the Jays. Great throw to get Zobrist out on that steal attempt.

God I hate the Rays. The city, the logo, the name, the baseball park, the manager everything.

It might be one of the worst baseball atmospheres as far as I can tell from my TV. Quiet, sparse crowd, boring looking park.

They have a good team, though.

I was literally laughing out loud during that sequence. A comedy of errors and the Jays get 4 so far this inning to cut it to 6-4.

The only spring training game I saw this season had Gomes hitting three doubles. Considering he wasn't even on my radar, I'm really happy with his contribution.

I hope he stays on the roster as a for a while - but Farrell has said that if he's not getting ABs for the Jays then he'll get sent down.
