Boomer comes across as your classic "my argument will sound better if I keep raising my voice and start talking over you" type of person. It actually degrades the point he is trying to make and doesn't come across very well.

Honestly it does bother me a fair bit and gets on my nerves.

Also he has made a couple of snide remarks on air about people "telling him how to do his job" when they bring up suggestions for the AM show, which is counter productive, in my opinion, to hosting a morning show.

I guess, if that is how you want to react to feedback from your listeners, then he can do what he wants.

He does have his good moments, but it sure sounds like or he gives the impression that he is the "primary host" of the AM show.

You say that like it is a bad thing. As long as he's not reading my posts word for word and presenting it as his own opinion what does it matter? It isn't like CP owns the rights to certain types of Flames related discussions. I know for a fact CP pulls a lot of discussion topics straight from the fan.

Generally I do like Boomer, but I agree the guy is pig headed. Some of his arguments make no sense at all, but he'll stick by them and raise is voice to drown out the other people just so he'll win the argument. The only guy so far who can kind of go toe to toe with him (because he's equally as pig headed in his arguments) is Rob Kerr. Those two used to do a pretty good show in the afternoons.

I'll listen to them when Rhett is on, I like the banter, but they are hard to take when he is away. It's like Rhett is the Dad and the other two are the children.

I shut it off immediately when one tries to talk over the other. It's my biggest pet peeve for radio, or any audio.

I am a fan of the morning guys. Warrener is a funny dude. Nothing beats getting a good workout in and then listening to these 3 guys in the hot tub at 0700. Get some good laughs, and then hit the office in a good mood.

i heard it this morning and actually turned my radio off, Boomer just stopped listening to walker and kept making it personal and being condescending, really frustrating to listen to, he wasn't even hearing him out, reminded me of Don and Ron actually

I've heard Boomer get quite upset a few times. Hard to tell if he's just getting animated to make a point or he is genuinely upset with Walker and/or Warrener. It is probably because they take jabs at each other so much that they don't know when to stop.

Thank God for satellite radio, when the Flames are out.

I think the majority of us don't listen to the Fan, unless the Flames are in...or some sort of Flames related news is on.

Maybe that's just me.
