I had no idea you could be covered for incidents that happened when out of town but off duty. Our company has half the staff out of town at any given time so I am surprised that this is the first time I have heard of it.

On that note, we have had guys who were out of town and drank too much the night before and missed a shift or showed up late. In the past this has been a discipline action but I wonder if they could claim WCB for the lost work?

Do you read it iwhile sitting in a black leather wing arm chair in front of a roaring fireplace while wearing a red smoking jacket and chewing angrily on a unlight pipe while complaining to a mutton choped man in the next seat over about the damn blasted problems in the colonies? A crystal glass of 18 year old single malt sitting on a small table next to your chair, one perfect line of condensation running down the side of the glass, while King, the club doberman sits attentively at your feet waiting for that single command to go fetch your highly polished walking shoes?

I would if I didn't hate scotch so much. As it is, I enjoy it while sitting on the porcelain throne.
