With pick 18 the San Diego chargers select defensive tackle Dontari Poe from Memphis.
A species that can play end and tackle in a 3-4 alignment.

Now that Mercilius is gone, The Bears are happy to select OT, Jonathan Martin.
The Bears still sport one of the league's worst offrensive lines, and even though Martin doesn't project to be able to translate into a LT, he does look like he could be a top end RT and that's too much for Chicago to pass on.

The Tennessee Titans are stunned that they are able to select CB Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina.

The Cleveland Browns are tempted to select for immediate need in a WR or RT, but choose to continue building a smash mouth AFC north opponent. The Browns are very pleased to select one of the best guard prospects of the past decade in David Decastro OG.

The Detroit Lions are happy to select from The Ohio State University OT Mike Adams.
There have been some concerns about his run blocking and character issues but with Stafford and Johnson on the team passing should be the main focus and with the mentorship of Jeff Backus both the character and run blocking issues will be addressed without concern.

This pick makes me nervous, but I'm going to select Michael Brockers,DT, LSU.
The Broncos MUST improve their interior defense and Brockers, if he isn't a one year wonder, would be a great first step.
In the real world, I think Brockers is long gone and the Broncos consider trading down and trying to get a guy like Kendall Reyes early in the second.

I believe in the Jays.

The Texans really need a WR, but just don't feel comfortable drafting any of the available ones with this pick. They feel there is a lot greater value for WRs in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
Therefore, after losing both their starting RG and RT this off season, the Houston Texans will select Cordy Glenn, Georgia.
We feel that he can play well in our ZBS at either the RG or RT because of his versatility.

The Green Bay Packers in an effort to fill a large hole on defense and to find a compliment to Clay Matthews are thrilled to select from the Boise St. Broncos....OLB Shea McClelin.

Jones looks lean and small for a DL.

4 picks left. If we get through these fairly quickly and there is interest I'll run a second round.
If you're interested in trying to get a 2nd round done thank this post.

In an continuing effort to give Alex Smith more weapons, SF proudly select TE Coby Fleener from Stanford. This gives small hands Smith another dynamic weapon over the middle with fellow TE Davis. With these TE's, new receivers Moss and Manningham to go with Crabtree, this offense should not struggle again in the red zone or NFC Championship game.

The New England Patriots with the 31st overall pick in the 2012 CP NFL mock draft, are pleased to draft from North Alabama, CB-Janoris Jenkins. While he does have a few character red flags in his past due to arrest issues, and having four children with thee women, he fills a hole on the Patriots defence, and will make the secondary better.
