I know I was terrible at sending lines during the regular season but I don't think I ever had an unknown player come in and dominate. Does it have anything to do with not enough players? Or the health of players?

So basically here’s the issue.

The sim has two settings for AHL teams. One that forces teams to have full lines and another where you toggle that feature off, allowing teams to ice smaller AHL teams. When we don’t force full lines, if people don’t send in lines it means I can’t sim at all. The program basically won’t let me. But if we toggle full lines off, I can still sim, even with incomplete lines. That’s where though instead of slotting in scratched players, the sim seems to put in Unknown Player instead.

The sim is really a pain in the ass when it comes to the AHL. For instance with Dallas the sim, for some reason we can’t figure out, scratches his entire AHL team regularly. Lines will for the most part roll over from day to day for CPHL teams (though that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t send in lines) but with the AHL it isn’t as steady.

I've been wondering why my CPHL roster page is always so big. In the roster client everyone is on the roster they are supposed to be...

First on the unknown player ahl lines issue, I actually got hit and fined by the watch dog this year because of an AHL roster issue, not having enough of 1 forward position, didn`t even realize it because the SIM was saying lines were complete. Even though I won the AHL last season I think there might be too much emphasis put on this issue. I certainly wouldn`t want to go back to full line-ups, plus the unknown player doesn`t count to the stats. I think it is going over the top to start policing the AHL. If there is a roster problem that involves the watch dog then thats fine.

Second, it was nice to see Lundy actually stop some pucks again. Hopefully the home ice disadvantage continues into game 4 so we can make this a best 2 out of 3 with the Rangers

The unknown player does count towards the win, though. 12 points in 3 games is a difference maker. And this is playoffs.

I like the sounds of this "unknown player". Send him to Dallas, god knows we need the scoring help.

Wings take back home ice disadvantage. The plugs have come up big with Cheechoo and Cody McLeod leading the charge.

We managed to escape a game without a injury. Flames however are dealt a big blow with team leader Jeff Finger out with a broken nail.

Backup Brian Boucher has been real good since coming over from Florida.

Personally I love how the AHL doesn't matter much. It would get annoying having to edit those AHL lines full of random losers every night.
