Yeah, maybe that's why I don't want to judge; If you open the dictionary to the entry for "guys who've never been in a real serious knuckles only fight," there's a picture of me right there.
I do agree that they looked awkward--and if anything, it shows that politicians should be careful about this kind of bravado. When things come to fisticuffs, it doesn't matter anymore who wins, you both look like idiots.
On the other hand, I do think you're right that Brazeau underestimated his opponent. Even a skinny guy can do some damage if you keep letting him punch you in the face. Brazeau kind of looked like a barroom brawler--all power but no accuracy and no control. He was throwing wild haymakers toward the end that were missing because of the reach issue--I can only imagine how tired that made him.
One thing didn't change: both of these guys are insufferable blowhards, and hopefully we start to hear less from both of them now that this circus is done with.
