I guess that's why I'm so interested in finance. I've always liked taking investment risks, and I would do it based on my common sense and gut feeling. I'm bridging a lot of the gaps by taking university courses, which is helping me understand that I was either really lucky or unusually smart the last 6 years.

I would recommend an MBA first. As the wide variety of courses would apply directly to your needs. But only go the best school you can. You also would make contacts that could be more valuable than any course.
CFA was the hardest thing I have done. Far more difficult than the MBA, and most of the subject matter would not apply to your business.
