I know Calgary has an Ikea, I was there last month. I was just joking about how every time we need new furniture, for some reason we always end up driving to Edmonton and visiting Ikea.

You could also get a sleeping bag or something. I'd recommend an inflatable mattress as well but you'd need the pump too. I think you're going to have to sleep on a bunch of clothes/towels tonight as things are all closed now.

When I first moved out, I slept on the floor for the first year, and then an aero bed for the second. Wasn't too terrible....not sure I could do 20 years though, especially since it became sub-optimal in terms of bringing anyone home with you.
