What a thrilling first game. The fourth lowest point total in NBA final history. Thank god we got to watch these great teams battle to a 83-69 final score.

You're just spoiled by the west coast style of "alley oop" basketball ;p little tip, it's gonna be a while before any run and gun offensive team wins again.

What a clinic the Pistons put on tonight, win by 31, new playoff low record for turnovers in 4 and 7 players in double digits, it was one sided again, but what a show the Pistons put on.

This season I have probably seen as much Eastern, if not more, play because of mainly watching the Raptors play and their East heavy schedule.

Anyways I have no problem admiting that I much prefer the west coast "alley-oop" style of play.

I think that if Phoenix is able to add one or maybe two more good reserves off the bench and are heathly then they could definately contend and do better than they did this year.

If you didn't watch this game, you missed a great basketball game.

That they did. Robert Horry was clutch tonight, and made up for Duncan who was very lacklustre in the final moments of the game.

Overall a great game.

Has there ever been a role player like Horry that has hit as many big shots as he has? Man. He's the Claude Lemiuex of the NBA.

How many rings does Horry have anyways? 2 with Houston I know for sure, at least 1 with L.A. But this is a guy who's been a journeyman who always seems to end up on championship calibre teams. You really can't call that luck I don't think.

I think he's got 5 - 2 with Houston, 2 with the Lake Show and one with the Spurs?

^^^You are correct sir. Good article on Horry here:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8160367/

Interesting to note that he would become the 2nd player to win a ring with 3 different organizations (John Salley being the other) and among a very small group of players with 6 championships to his name.

Robert Horry is awesome, the Pistons had no answer for him. Robert Horry reminds me of Kipper last year and Giguere the year before, when you get hot, there's not much the other team can do.

Except not leave him a wide open look for 3 in the dieing moments. Seriously - what a poor decision to double up leaving him a wiiiiide open.

It was a poor decision on Rasheed's part, but regardless.

The shot I'll always remember Horry for is that one in game 5 vs. The Kings in 02 I think it was. The ball went off Divac, and looked like it was going to roll away giving the Kings a 3-2 lead only to have it go straight to a wide open Horry who nailed the three with like a second left to win the game. Looked like Sacramento had it won, and here Horry seems to magically appear and be in the exact right place at the right time and grab it. I couldn't believe it when it happened.
