Worst case he just doesn't pay. Last I checked Ebay ratings don't affect the buyer the way they used to. I'm sure he'll be able to get out of it by paying the relisting fee if there is one.

I know that's a douchy thing to do, but it's Ebay, no one is going to waste their time or resources to try and force you to buy something. Worst case you get one negative which isn't going to hurt you.

So we were looking at this Tron arcade machine in Houston. The price was good but the shipping to Canada was like $1500! and my idiot friend hit place bid.....

I got outbid by $2 in the final minute of the auction. haha

Exact reason when my 3 year old wanted to start using the computer, we made her an account of her own with no privileges, no shared browser etc. If she wanted to log in, she needed to choose her account and type her password correctly.

I don't want to log in to half my desktop missing.

I would still like to know how someone commits $5100 to an item they aren't 100% sure about. Need more details as is this a case of buyers remorse or finding the item cheaper elswhere?

I get it now. The shipper was set up by the buyer. Give me a break it's an unusual arrangement, as it involves a car. Shipping is usually set up by the seller.
