Hope the OPP and the school board get a nice lawsuit over this. Only in Ontario...

What a joke....

I really hope this guy takes legal action against the "law enforcement" at work here.

Arrested, and then strip searched...for what crime exactly? ....completely uncalled for.

the reporter on the sun news network brought up a really good discussion point on this:

In the Shafia case, two daughters went to the school and said they feared for their lives. The school and children services did nothing until three girls were dead.

Compare that with this grotesque overreaction.

I used to draw big landscapes full of stick figures dying in interesting and horrible ways. Probably means my parents are mass murdering sadists who kill for the luls.

I once had a clean record but then my 4 year old child drew a picture of me taking an arrow in the knee.

Amazing how out of touch these agencies are.

No apology for dad arrested over gun drawing, agency says

"I am really sorry that the family is as upset as they are, but we followed proper standards and procedures," said Alison Scott, executive director of Family and Child Services for the Waterloo Region. She told QMI Agency if the same situation happened again tomorrow, her organization would do the exact same thing over again.

Someone needs to be fired for a lack of common sense.

It isn't all or nothing, though. There is a reasonable way to react to different scenarios. Arresting this girl's father is ridiculous.

Alison Scott should be fired.
