I wouldn't be actually suprirsed if it wasn't more than that. A leaf weighs a lot. A small line of powder doesn't.

Maybe it's dry weight, in which case a dried out leaf weighs considerably less than a fresh one.

Coca leaves are a schedule 1 drug in Canada. They're as illegal as Cocaine.

Watching the Drugs Inc on cocaine (great series of shows, and pretty objective) they show how much it takes to make a miniscule amount of cocaine, and it is a LOT. And the farmers get paid dink all.

LOL @ the OP. Coca leaves are just as illegal as Cocaine and fall under the same Sched. I can't believe you were drinking it at work and laughing with your superiour.

What you did is, pari-passu, is the same as snorting coke in front of your supt, laughing about it, then going off and failing a drug test.

Actually you can buy that tea in Edmonton. I was privy to an insurance case where the guy was definitely not a cocaine user but had gone to Peru and brought the tea back because he liked it. He failed the test and had to jump through a few hoops to get accepted. One of the underwriters used the tea and did a "test". Interestingly it seemed to effect men more than women and generated these false positives for the men but not women.
