Thanks for the tips in the thread, up to 7.5.... just wondering how you made it up to 11.2? Mine was 2 (original) + 5 (photo uploads) + 0.5 (social network connections).

A few referrals, plus as photon mentioned promotions in the past. One that sticks out in my mind was a scavenger hunt type thing a year or so ago.

Just to clarify, it is not a glitch, but they are rewarding people for testing the new feature/client.
IIRC The most you can get is 5GB (maybe 4.5GB) from this reward, so if you were at 2.5 before, then your cap will be 7.5, yes.

I just got the "box.com" app for my Apdroid phone and they have a deal on now until March. 24th that if you sign up you get 50gb account free for life. I'm not sure if you get the same thing if you just sign up on the website or not. I don't like it as much as drop box because there is no sync function (that I have found yet any way) but 50gb was to good to pass up.

My dropbox just went to 23.9 GB from 15.9 GB I had and I don't know why. Anyone else have a massive increase like this?

I know they recently upped the referral bonus from 250MB to 500MB. You are now allowed up to 16GB in referral bonuses. Your 8 GB increase seems to be on par with that.

Yeah they must have retroactively applied the referral bonus. I didn't think they would.
Then again, with Google Drive coming out they've got to lock people in.

So adding more over the 8 gig bonus I already had acquired? Interesting!
With Box available offering 50 gigs it must make them re-think the storage as well.
