So out of curiosity what type of tax accountant am I looking for? My personal taxes are rather easy an I don't mind doing my own, I would really like to get advice and go over what I am doing on the rental side of things. Would that be a tax planner as mentioned above?
I only have experience with an accountant who helped me out with my GST/HST claims, numbers and such. I have never used an accountant for my personal taxes.
