My question is does this effect Roll Up The Rim? Will the prize cups remain Medium and up, or will it encompass the 10oz up?

I like my coffee like I like my women...with larger cup sizes.

They really need to change their lids. Blatantly steal the design from McDonalds.
I can't count the times my groin has felt the the hellish heat of Tim Hortons coffee from their rudimentary lids.
tl:dr I spill coffee on my self all the time and it pisses me off. I choose to blame their lids.

Personally I can't stand the McDonald's lids. Way too big and unwieldy.

trick for Tim's lids, turn them so the open tab you're drinking out of is over the seem. That solves the spilling problem 95% of the time.
Also ask for it to be double cupped, that way if it's the rim itself that's bent, you can switch cups.

Tim Hortons announced it will be brewing its biggest cup yet, with this month's introduction of a brand new extra large cup. Beginning January 23rd, the new cup will offer coffee lovers across Canada a premium quality, extra large coffee at a value price.
|
So they're changing their coffee too?

Steal the whole damn cup. McD's coffee cups are really good. They keep the coffee hot without burning your fingers.

Steal the coffee too. McDicks' coffee is way better. And the DT is faster (except at Glenmore Landing).

Also try pushing the tab into the cup, instead of folding it back.

News this big for Horton's isn't official until they piece together a commercial with recycled Canadian commercial actors (the current Wisers, Capital One Credit card guy will do), in such a style that makes those, who think Corner Gas was risque cutting edge comedy, giggle at one or two punch lines.

I am not even a coffee snob, but still think Tim Hortons sucks. Here is why:
- You are borderline ######ed if you are willing to stand in line or wait more than 3 minutes in a drive through for a really bad-mediocre cup of coffee. Drink a Tim Hortons coffee black, if you want to see how horrible it is.
- Their advertising is insulting to Canada's collective intelligence.
- Old Tim Horton people wearing Kirkland Jeans, and Velcro Dewalt shoes that treat ordering a frikkin bowl of soup and a bun, like an order of Foie Gras at La Chaumière.
- People that excessively say "Going to Timmies'". Wow, saying Timmies saved you a whole syllable over saying Tim Hortons. Grab some 'bevies and appies' while you are there jerkwad.
- People who treat it like some sort of Canadian Institution. I am in Vegas on the Weekend, at The Wynn Hotel. The Coffee they serve in their boutique coffee shop is unreal good. What you would expect in one of the best hotels on the planet. And some dork face from Canada is sitting at the next table spoutin off "Oh boy, they sure can't make a good cup like good ole Timmies." As he is drinking a 50/50 cream to coffee mix. Yeah a-hole, and I bet you think the Lasagna 'Casserole' at 'Timmies' is considered fine Italian dining.
If you want cheap, fast good coffee, go to Macdonalds. a) It actually tastes decent and b) you don't have to put up with Tim Tards and lineups. Maybe, one day, when Tim Hortons gets an express line so you can grab a coffee in under 2 minutes, I will try again, and grab their steeped tea which is actually quite good. Until then, they can shove their crappy coffee up their butt.

I frequent the Tim Horton's in Coventry. They're by far the best Tim's I know. The coffee is always good, the workers and friendly and their service is excellent. It's the only fast food joint I know where my order is out before I'm even done paying. It's shocking. On the opposite side of the spectrum, the Tim Horton's by T&T in Harvest is a moist, dirty crap hole.
It's amazing the disparity between various Tim's.
P.S. I'm glad they didn't get rid of the old small. It's what my gf orders.
