You see a lot of these people when watching the broadcasts. Been the same people in the same seats for years. Aside from the one behind the Flames bench, there's the 40-50 year old man in the corner with his son that they show on crowd shots after a goal. Seen that kid grow a lot in the last few years.
I'm fascinated by that mans inability to remove his jacket.
Years ago, I recall one woman who used to sit in the Presidents Club section and watch the game on a portable TV in her lap (when the games were on 2&7).
Add me to the "see her during every game" category. She never looks that excited either, but they tend to only show Brent when he's brooding, so chances are it's more based on the point in the game than anything else.

Then there's the gal by the oppositions' tunnel. She gave us this gem of a photo a couple seasons ago:
HAHA I was at this game. This is when Brown flubbed a penalty shot HAHA!

Haha, 'brooding.' So....always?

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
That woman reminds me of the guy who used to sit in the lower bowl behind the goalie... relatively older dude always had a great Flames sweater (and I mean sweater sweater, not a jersey) on. You would almost always seem him after every goal celebration. Wonder what happened to that guy...
But speaking of this lady, I always thought the seats behind the bench were rather crappy for watching hockey. Apart from the tv coverage which would probably make you self-conscious, the non-stop obstructed viewing angle can't be that great. It would be like watching tv at home, and having someone walk in front of your tv every few seconds.
They do suck. I have sat behind the Flames bench only once. A realtor gave me the tix as a thank you for buying a house from him.
You can't see any of the corners or boards on your side, and your too low to see any goal mouth plays.
However, if you love the HBO 24/7 experience of hearing the coaches and players talk during the game, it is awesome. You can really see the strategy the coaches use,and how the players interact with each other.
I over heard Iggy/Cammi talking that game. Cammi said something to the effect of "I'll be left side, and drop a knee, when you see me, pass" (paraphrase). Sure enough next shift, Cammi comes up the left wing, drops his knee and winds up, Iggy does a quick pass cross ice right on tape, and boom!
The other great part was Keenan ripping into the players. That was great too.
I usually am up in the 200's behind Kipper, so I thought that was a great alternate experience. I wouldn't ever want to sit there full time though. As seats they do suck bad.
