Ya, they played 2 games this year against teams that finished with a better than .500 record. Should they have complained to the league before the season about not getting a tough enough opponents?
Either way, this is the Pats... Not some team that just recently stumbled on success and havent proven anything yet.

Eli is creeping back into the "Everyone thinks I'm awesome" state, which means he's primed to have one of his "What the hell is he doing out there?" games.

I agree with rube, it is time for Eli to be the Eli that throws the ball to the other team a few times in the game.

Hopeful wishing from a guy who's afraid his Packers can't stop Brees now that NO is really rolling. Can't wait until the Saints dominate GB on their way to the SB.

Still don't know who I am going to cheer for in these playoffs. Not a fan of any of the teams, but also dont hate any of the teams.
I am going to be in the New England area on super bowl weekend, so maybe them to see how all of them react to a superbowl win.

Bitter? I kind of like the Steelers too.
Ben is just a bit too rapey though.

I'd rather the Pats win than the Packers if it comes down to those two teams.
Yeah, Roethlisberger has some blemishes in his past, no denying that. He's still a good QB though, and I'll still support him despite the rape allegations and his motorcycle crash.

As a Lions fan I just hope they show up and its a good game, but realistically I don't think they can win unless the Defense suddenly is able to cover WR's. Stranger things have happened. It could also be one of those whoever has the ball last wins games.
I think Cincy wins,
Pitt is a landslide...I doubt Tebow finishes the game
NY gets by Atlants.
I hope Iginla scores tonight because I don't want to have to choose between the Lions first playoff game in over a decade or Iginla going for 500.

I think the Lions likely need at least one score from defense/ST and multiple turnovers to win the game. The passing attack is impressive but they can't just go head to head with the Saints in that regards, especially in Megatron is anything other than great.
It will be exciting to see them in the play-offs but this year does not look like their year. Hopefully if nothing else it is a fun shootout and good game to watch.
