What an ignorant piece of society you are. However instead of reading your thoughts that I don't need I'll redirect you to my first post.

Oh and I kind of need to leave the house, thats how they get outside. Its funny you act like you know more about pet ownership when you don't even own the one we're talking about. I own one, I know what its like. Not you.

Sure the cat should've been fixed but what the OP is trying to do is far better then dropping them into a sack with some rocks and chucking them into the Bow River.

Good luck OP.
Some faith in humanity has been restored.

I own a cat, and you still seem like a knob. Is that fair?

How the OP hasn't been sin binned for all the insults he is slinging is mind bottling. I get he is po'd people are critiquing his pet ownership skills, but he is handling the situation like a 12 year old.

I'm not going to take offense and let you be satisfied. Yeah it may be childish, but idiots who dont even know what forum they're in AND have the audacity to be ignorant and accuse me of being irresponsible deserve my insults.

I was trying to find these guys a home. Not be swarmed by grown men of how much of a bad owner I am. If they don't want to be insulted, then they shouldn't have walked in this thread with ignorant criticism.

I'd say its fair. I am childish, but those who walked in with 0 attempt to buy and judged me only knowing the info from my original post had an even lower thought process.

No, allowing a bunch more cats into the system when so many are destroyed all the time is the irresponsible part.

I haven't stopped the OP from trying to give their kittens away, if I wanted to stop them from doing that I would have deleted the thread.

What the hell is wrong with you people? OK, so his cat got knocked up. Big deal. It happens. He just wants to find a decent home for the kittens instead of throwing them in a trash bin somewhere.

All you're doing is encouraging the next guy to toss his kittens in a bin rather than have to deal with this crap.

^ Probably the second best reply I got.

And if someone's joke about turning the kittens into food is the second best reply, really I lose faith in CP. I should've never tried to give my kittens a home in this forum full of adults (I hope) who act like they can pass judgement on me when they don't even know my situation.

If you think about it, I was called a bad owner and stupid for trying to find a home for kittens who are unwanted in my household. Unfortunately, that's how people in CP think.

I've said let this thread die, but more moronic responses keep coming. So until they stop, I'll keep defending myself.

I'd say just delete the thread because CP was the worst place I could chosen to give them away. As I said before Kijiji or Petland should've been my options, and that's exactly what I'll do.

And if you have the power to close this thread then you must have the power to make people stay on topic in the buy and sell forum. As I stated so many times, I didn't come here to debate about my pet ownership and have opinions about me told.

And maybe the new info I put in the first post would take a little bit of criticism off my shoulders, but it doesn't matter now because I've given up on this forum.

I do have that power and normally I would have done so, but as I said I think the message about irresponsible pet ownership was important enough leave in rather than remove.

You were the first one to get confrontational, don't act shocked when people reply in kind.

That and such a huge number of animals get destroyed every year, it's also not shocking when people strongly react to people letting their pets have babies.

It might have take a little criticism off, but you were the one to initiate by telling people to shut up and calling them whores.

Almost every other buy/sell thread goes by without that kind of conflict and drama, so I don't think your characterization of the form is at all accurate...

Photon I respect your analysis but really. I highly doubt people were calling me a bad owner because of the post calling CP full of argument whores. Besides, if you look at this whole thread it's practically proven.

Other threads go on without drama because usually the responses are on-topic. All these responses were off-topic. I admit it was wrong to display childish comebacks but how are you not putting any blame on those who criticized? This thread could have flown by smoothly if they didn't act like they knew my situation and then passed judgement on me for it. This thread wouldn't have been a war without them posting in it. Though I admit I was in the wrong as well.

I ask that you do close this now because the speculation has moved from whether I'm a good/bad owner to whether my responses were irrational.

Wow.

The first 2 parts of my first post were supposed to be a little tongue in cheek humor. The third part was trying to give you a solution to make some money to prevent this from happening again.

As the owner of 2 rescue cats (one of them female, that I accidently let go into heat before getting her fixed) I think I do know what I'm talking about, because I have dealt with it first hand. I would think that you should be able to overpower a cat from getting out side. If you're getting scratched, my next question would be: why aren't you being a responsible owner and trimming her nails?

Maybe look at ways of cutting some corners in your family budget and saving a few bucks every week or use some of the links that others have given you to help get her fixed. If your money situation is as bad as you say, then maybe you need to find momma a home that can be a more positive environment for her.

I do hope someone does take these kittens (and your cat), because I don't think that you're responsible or emotionally stable enough to have a pet.

PS:
I love my pu$$ies!
