I would like us both to be able to easily sync our phones to the library on the Macbook and have access to those tunes on Match. It would be cool if we didn't have to purchase the same song twice (once with each AppleID) too if that's possible. I'm not opposed to just using the same AppleID for purchases going forward, but I want to be really careful that our contacts/mail don't get all messed up. I use my iPhone for work a lot and can't let my wife have access to a lot of the stuff on there.

Is there a guide for similar situations? Thoughts?
Best bet is use your iCloud account for syncing, (your own only) and use a different apple Id for match and store purposes

If I buy and rip further CDs does match automagically add the stuff to my cloud collection? Is it constantly scanning for additions?

Seeing some issues with album art across my two machines and iOS devices - looks like my master machine, that has my library on disk, has all album art, but some albums don't get artwork on the other machines.

Investigation continues.

Interesting. I will have to look into this. Mine became full quite quickly, but I also had some other stuff on the phone that wasn't helping.

What happened when it got full? Did it provide an error message of some sort? Were you downloading music to load it up, prior to playing, or allowing it to pull stuff down from albums/playlists on the fly?

I believe it said I was running low on space. It was just as I was falling asleep though, so I don't remember all that well.

Think I found a fix to the missing album art issue - on my "master" machine (ie. the one with the actual tracks on local disk), if I double click on an album from the album icon view, it seems like it pulls the album art from the tracks. Then, when I go back, the album art is restored, and it also pushes out to my iPad.

Edit: the issue runs a bit deeper than this - the key to solving it is to look at affected albums in Finder or Windows Explorer (I suppose..) and see if the album artwork is embedded into all tracks. If it isn't, you need to ensure that it is, and then ensure that it gets re-added to iCloud.

I'm not sure if you need to actually remove and re-add the content to force a full "match-and-upload" process, or if simply updating iTunes Match via the menu entry in iTunes is sufficient, I'm still testing that.

Has anyone had this unknown error - 4010 when trying match? I subscribed last night and it never gets past analyzing my library before erroring out. There didn't seem to be much concrete info on the Apple Support discussions.

I had this problem with genius giving errors to my wireless laptop.

Hooked up a network cable and it worked fine- was a wireless issue.
