Man, don't want to sound like a cynical conspiracy theorist

but that looks terrible to be that materially off (on the high side only) year after year. That's like 50 times worse than the BLS data issues/revisions mentioned.
Opps?
(On a sidebar, if the sales numbers from the realtors are off by that much are they also not revising/revisiting their sales price numbers - mathematically would it not also be potentially off?)
