Noticed it on the Jokinen goal. It's funny that we all hate SN, who love the Flames, and love TSN, who hate the Flames.

I don't think anyone "hates" SN, but we hate their production of the games....TSN is superior to SN and we like TSN because they show a good game with better sound, video, commentators...etc.

SN seems like a bush league channel being run by incompetent people.

I've been using component cables for awhile now and I am experiencing this audio issue. It's coming from the production of the game, not the TV or sound system.

I thought this so I switched cables and didn't help. It's sportsnet and it's annoying!!

Just wait until they have a game on SN Flames. The audio commentary comes out the rear speakers on a surround setup. That has been happening for a year and a half already. Again, only on sportsnet. They really are quite terrible.

C'mon people, cut them some slack. The A/V club from Bishop Kidd school works really hard on these games.

Yeah, Sportsnet is awful... In addition to the out of sync sound and terrible sound channel management, they also have video problems. The "HD" feed is so washed out and full of compression artifacts it looks like TV from years ago. And, on top of that, the main camera hiccups every few minutes, skipping ahead a frame or two.

I have season tickets, and its not possible to make it to every game, so I sell one or two a month. I really try not to sell a game that SN is broadcasting, just so I dont have to watch their broadcast. In contrast, I have no problem selling TSN or CBC covered games because their telecasts are actually enjoyable to watch.

At least they finally spelled VISION correctly in that "vison" ad they kept running.

I am surprised that CP 'breaks the news on signal out of sync'. In fact, Browna is money in the bank for his observation. It's about 4-6 frames out...

What drinks did the SN engineers take?

It hurts me a little every time I have to watch a game on Sportsnet. I hate giving that terrible company ratings.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was an intentional delay to accommodate Kerr as a newbie play-by-play man.

Still one of the loudest in the NHL when theres is noise to be made, haha.

I do agree that Sportsnet needs to get change their sound though.

It's all starting to make sense now. Is it any coincidence that Rob Kerr's ability to see in the future has anything to do with the fact he looks conspicuously like Marty Mcfly's dad? I think the hair part is even in the same place.

'Last night, Darth Vader came down from planet Vulcan and told me that if I didn't take Lorraine out that he'd melt my brain.'

Thank god Sportsnet didn't pick up Jets games. TSN regional is amazing compared to Kerr and his local access cronies. The only guy worse is the monotone plug that does HNIC.

I was just thinking that the other night. I think Kerr might be the worst play by play, and top that off with SNET's unusually bad production value and it's lose-lose.

The TSN Jets broadcast, meanwhile, has Sara Olresky and great color/play by play. It's like they've been doing it for years. Meanwhile Sportsnet Flames seems like they just slapped it together with SAIT drop outs.

Thank god Kerr will not be taking over Maher on the radio. He barely describes the play at all.

I'm still mad that they ripped off "C'mon man" from MNF with "Are you kidding me!?"

Kerr has become a non factor for me since i have converted back to listening to a pro Maher 960 play by play. Just pause the game at the beginning for 3 seconds and it usually matches his call.

Honestly i wish Kerr would get canned and they re hire him back on 960.

He reminds me of one of the rookie broadcasting students calling High School basketball on shaw.
