I'd like to live to see the human race come into contact with another civilization somewhere in space, even if it's as simple as one of our satellites crossing paths with a satellite from another planet. Just knowing 100% for sure that we're not alone in the Universe (in terms of intelligent life) will be an incredibly humbling moment in our existence.
