By the way, I (and most of the packed theatre at Chinook) were laughing a lot during this movie. Loved the Jim Henson lightpole flag tribute throughout the second half.
9.5/10 for me. Nostalgia + great movie.
Did I miss something? Was it hidden?

Basically any time they showed the street in front of the Muppets' theatre - on the lightposts were banners and they had Jim Henson's picture

That and Die Hard are the two movies I make sure to watch every Christmas.
I love when Rolf is talking to Sprocket. "Yeah, bark bark, woof woof!"

Norm!
I remember I was just a kid when Jim Henson died, and they had his funeral on T.V. and I cried hard when Big Bird came out and sang and it looked like he wanted to cry.

More Henson on Aresenio Hall (edit if you zoom to about 5 minutes you introduce Clifford who completely cracks up Hall)

I'd slot it in #4 behind Garfield's Christmas, A Claymation Christmas, and The Muppet's Christmas Carol. But I agree that it is up there.

Saw it, loved it.
You have no soul if you don't find some enjoyment. So glad the Muppets are back, hope this is a long term return and not just a one off!

Definitely. There's a special feeling of nostalgia associated with that movie for me and I haven't seen it for years. Such endearing characters. Thanks for posting that.

I went there two months ago. It's awesome, but with all the 3D movies nowadays, the 3D effects are way behind.

My sister and I went last night. We loved it, but then we are big Muppet fans. I just recently bought Muppets Take Manhattan and The Great Muppet Caper on Blu-ray. We used to watch The Great Muppet Caper whenever we went to our grandparents as kids. Our whole theatre seemed to really enjoy it as well.

I love how the movie even poked fun at it, but who WAS that kid that walked in with Whoopi Goldberg and Selena Gomez?

MuppetVision has been around for 20 years in Florida. It was the final Muppet project that Henson worked on.

Oh yes. I definitely noticed that. For some reason, I thought you were talking about something else.
