My phone rang once too with a weird number on it that I didn't recognize but I thought what the heck and answered it. The nice gentleman on the other end offered to fix my computer for free which was great because I wasn't even aware it was broken!

Telemarketers are using things like Google phone now and it does strange things with area codes.

My friend called me with Google phone from the computer next to me here in Calgary and the area code on my phone showed up as Kazakhstan

It is just kind of sketchy when a number from a "bad" country comes up on yer phone!

If they call back, I will make sure to answer this time and ask them about naan bread, the price of pop in their liquor stores and other stuff.
