Canada had a rough start to the Olympics with a few chokes in places where we should have won medals. And IIRC Jim came on and said they were all a bunch of "mental" losers and that it was our Canadian "just try and you win" mentality.

I think he also bashed own the podium for being a bunch of mental pussies too. Same thing, they didn't really want to win and were being soft mentally.

I think we all know how that worked out.

I dont mind this show, a little access to the amateur sports is not a bad thing. I also like that he is trying to get kids motivated to join sport/any sport. Not that many kids are listenening to this anyway.

My concern is that many of his themes sound very "new-agey". I don't get the feeling that his techniques come from evidence-based sports psychology.
