Just another thought.

I've heard lots of positive recommendations for Buffalo networking products in the past, but I don't know it its legal issues are behind it.

Personally I would stay away from Buffalo.

I've tried a lot of their routers in the past, and to me they are all junk. Netgear has some good stuff that I would give a try. The WDR3700 I believe is pretty good.

Is this what you currently use? Sounds decent. Anyone else with experience on this one?

I use the WNDR3700v2 with DD-WRT on it. AWESOME router, would highly recommend.

Well, that's a lot of votes for the WNDR3700. Think that will be my next router.

I am also looking for a wireless router to use for browsing and gaming.

I have read reviews elsewhere on the web that the Netgear WNDR3700 is difficult to connect to the PS3.

Does anyone have experience with this??

What you want to do is grab a Linksys WRT54GL router ...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...scrollFullInfo

(5 eggs after 3,491 reviews)

and then flash it with the Tomato firmware...

Mine has been running literally for 3 years straight without a single hiccup.

Have also heard great things about flashing it with DD-WRT.

And if you want to get really fancy, there's a special version of Tomato that supports OpenVPN so you can set up your own VPN tunnel for logging in securely while on the road.

No problems, WNDR3700 with DD-WRT. No issues with PS3 whatsoever

I highly recommend it and if you look it up it has very good reviews as well.
