Ha! Riding my bike to work for the win!

Of course I usually ride straight up 1st st, so I guess I'll have to deal with that.

If you're driving today you are just as royally ####ed. I came downtown for the game and got as far as 10th St (coming from West), parked and decided to walk. Traffic was INSANE. It took me 25 minutes to get from Crowchild to 10th St.

Traffic is fine now. I bet if I left 20 minutes later I would have missed it altogether.

I'll drive now from the office rather than walk.

That sucks.

Looks like I was just able to miss it. I was probably on the last train (in one direction) that wasn't affected.

I was on the first train affected I think, just before 3:30. I was at Erlton/Stampede station when the announcement came over the train. The operator was very good at keeping us updated, but as I was NW bound, it was annoying.

Thankfully I have a general transit knowledge so I hopped off at the first Victoria Park/Stampede and got on the NW bound #10 and finished my ride home.

I'm sure it was a gongshow though, but ya, it happens.

I decided to shortcut across downtown at about 6:30 ... bad idea. Was 3 light delays coming across 9th Ave.

On the otherhand, the transit conductor on my lengthy ride home to the south never even so much as went on the intercom to say why the train wasn't moving.

Wow, glad I was a terrible employee yesterday and ducked out early. I must have been one of the last trains through.
