Doesn't the USS Enterprise actually warps the space around the ship? They aren't actually traveling at all, it's everthing else around them that is moving which allows them to travel great distances and essentially exceed the speed of light without breaking laws of physics.

Actually, the USS Enterprise is a boat and doesn't leave the earth at all. IDIOTS!

Meh. Transwarp Drive will ultimately be a failure. Warp 9.9999 is the fastest you can go. The base Excelsior hull will carry on for decades though.

even if we could go faster than the speed of light, what's the point? if i understand the physics correctly, the closer you approach to light speed, the slower time moves for you relative to the rest of the universe. so while you might make it to your destination faster, everyone you've ever known on Earth when you left will be dead by the time you make it there
warp drive is the only feasible space travel method i've seen scientists actually discuss seriously

Yup, he pretty much hollowed out Lois Lane on their third date.

Which one?
The space one
Or hero ships about the WW2 and nuclear era carriers
Or Battle 360 which is a whole series dedicated to the Enterprise
