Rent a bouny house. Or buy one - my kid's fourth birthday is on Saturday and I bought him a bouncy house. He's going to lose his junk when he sees that in our yard tomorrow and then all the kids can play on it at the party.

If your kids and their friends like trains take them to Ironhorse Park in Airdrie:

I have to say, all of this sounds like the reasoning behind the invention of the flask.

After having my son's 6th birthday, I'm glad we had ours at a bowling alley. Maximum 2 hrs. If we had it at home, we could have been stuck with some of those kids for 3, maybe even 4 hours! And our house wasn't damaged in the process.

Where do you guys celebrate your kids birthday parties?

My daugther has done at Chuck E Cheese, but to be honest we don't like that place much, we always have bad service and really bad attitute from the manager.

My dauther wants to have her party at the movies, but is it possible? Do they host birthday parties there?

My boy wants to have his birthday party at LaserTag, that place seems like a lot of fun.

I am just looking for any ideas,

Thanks

Ozzy
I'm from Lethbridge so I can't give you any specific names of places in Calgary, but here are some ideas we've seen/done.

Bowling Alley
Gymnastics Club
Indoor Soccer Center
Swimming Pool

What about Culinary Arts (I think in Avenida) for the daughter? A little sexist for your daughter, but different.

Can always contact City pools as well to do pizza then a swim (just make sure you let me know so I can make sure I'm not guarding.... I hate dealing with kids hopped up on crack/cake and doing stupid stuff in the pool that will require me to jump in and save the little ankle-biters and then have to yell at parents that should know better to let their non-swimming 3 year old go tearing off the diving board with-out a PFD.)

Does he actually throw the kids, or does somebody else do that?
