Is there anyway to get your hands on a 3D Fathead? I heard they are rare to find but the joy of seeing someones face light up when they get the prize would be worth the hunt

Maybe you could convince the boss to offer a half day off?

Especially if it's a safety prize. Encourages safe work, and is a prize anyone would love and covet!!! Plus a half day off should leave the winner de-stressed and reduce the likelyhood of a sick day (costs more), and couldn't hurt morale.

Depending on how many you order (and if your doing it twice a month this MAY work) you can usually get vouchers for free movies from places like Famous Players and Cineplex for less than they actually cost. Even if you have to get them at full pop it might be something people are interested in. But if you can work a discount, you can get more for your 50 bucks worth. Offer more as a prize, offer them to more than one worker, or use them for other things.

I worked at a place doing sales years back and we always had a ton of these on hand, they were mostly used for customers. But sometimes our boss would toss us a pair for a really good sale, or a thank you for going the extra mile on something that needed to be done. It's not something an adult is going to go nuts over, but it's a nice surprise when you can take your gf or wife, or family member out for a treat and not have to pay.

Other than that, as people have mentioned, prepaid cards would be nice. Could be anything from a Visa for anything, to one for a restaurant like Moxies. Heck a lot of people go crazy for Timmy's ones, though I have no idea why.

Depending on what range of workers you have Future Shop or HMV might work, etc.

These are ######ed. Some fee for activating them, and if you don't use the money within a specified period they charge a deactivation fee equivalent to the remaining balance, i.e. they found a loophole to have an expiry date.

I don't understand why anyone would ever buy one. A $50 bill is much more useful.

The best gifts are things that people can't, or shouldn't, buy for themselves.

For example: http://www.sealandgov.org/titles.html
