He better have voice that sounds like it's gone through puberty. 960 employees some of the weirdest sounding voices on the planet.

Bryn is a good guy...he was who I listened to for my morning drive show for a couple years until he parted ways (new management came into the Team 1260 and from what I heard they didn't see eye-to-eye). The poster who mentioned Jake Daniels was bang-on...Bryn had to carry that guy on his shoulders throughout his tenure at 1260 (they tried the concept of having a regular fan like Jake on but it failed miserably).

Although do prepare yourself for the puns...they are groaners for the most part...

Sad about Loubo. Truly a great guy. Saw him at Hitmen rookie camp this past Sunday. Tough to compete with a guy who is at jr rookie camps and Alberta Cup because he needs to know everything he can. Was a true professional and would have been better than anyone available. Would have been a huge upgrade on Kerr for sure. Hope This new guy can also outperform the terribly low sports intelligence level that Kerr created as the standard.

Is there any relation to the old Vancouver owners son or am I confusing things. I vaguely remember one of them in broadcasting.

On the same page as this, what are these rumours about Dan Tencer going to Calgary? Or is it this spot that he was rumoured to be getting?

Please elaborate.

Are we talking weird voice/cadence that might be a matter of personal preference (like Loubardias)? Odd sense of humour that might come off as juvenile at times (like Mike Richards)? Does he antagonize callers (like Rob Kerr)?

I was joking, the comment was directed at Reggie.

I never really had a problem with Bryn when he was on 1260. Unfortunately, he was paired with a guy named Jake Daniels, who used to be on The Bear rock station here, and Jake was better suited for that gig. He was too immature for morning sports talk, and I think he dragged Bryn down with him. They were eventually both let go. Bryn had been a part of the sports scene here for a long, long time, and I don't think he got a fair shake at the end.

As for his actual style, to be honest I never really paid a ton of attention to that, so I can't comment.

I'm not a fan of this move. Never really enjoyed Bryn that much on the Team. But maybe that was because of Jake.

He was Sports Director so it was his own fault that he paired himself with Jake.

Oh... yay. Another Edmontonian. Not that I have an issue with Griffiths individually, I'm sure he will do well. But good lord... hire someone local for once!
