Nah, the comment that has CP's self-proclaimed morality police all offended came later. Possibly from the funny pictures thread?

Some really disturbing imagery in that banner where it to me is really apparent that its not the amount of skin thats covered but there's some really clear sexual based photo's that would be equivalent to what you would see on older models in a Victoria Secret catalog.

sometimes I really wonder what goes on in peoples heads, and how in the hell do they think this is even close to a good idea.

The companies just try to take whatever stance they can to justify themselves because they're trying to sell stuff. Even though it's risky and deplorable, they're putting out this product to find a new way to take shoppers' money. There are probably enough people out there that will buy the stuff. People are messed up nowadays.

I don't remember where the post was, it was quite some time ago.

I think the butthurt did start in the BPs thread but there was another post that sealed the deal.

This was a few years ago now, but I shopping in a lingerie store for my girlfriend at the time and they had a bin with "children's thongs" in it. It was pretty nasty.

What do you expect I guess, when a show like "Toddlers and Tiaras" are not only allowed to be on the air, but does very well. I posted about it a while ago, and despite offending my sensibilities, my wife does flip to it sometimes (all the while complaining how terrible it is... call it a morbid curiousity on her part). I recall one episode where a parent was complaining that her 5 year old kid was at a disadvantage because one of the judges does not like it when the kids "sex up" their routines.

Sorry, not to get too far off on a tangent, but the sexualization of children is very obvious right now in our culture. Everything from TV commercials and to reality talent shows with children. People seem to be desensitized now.
