$120 a month for Broadband 50, Basic home phone, TV (no sports or movie channels) - when hockey starts up will be adding sport and dropping the kids channels.
I would like to drop even more, but the wife loves her What not to wear to 4 weddings while saying yes to the dress and hoarding in your basement and baking a cake with 19 kids shows...

~$63.?? for Shaw phone, digital cable and X-treme. I'm on a student promo and just renewed it. My girlfriend pays more than double what I do for the exact same thing.

~180 w/ Shaw.
Extreme internet, basic phone and full HD with the exception of Oasis. Why not Oasis? Because apparently I have been a Shaw customer for too long... #### Shaw.

I had to call and add on Oasis, my G/F lost her mind after the free preview was up and the channel went down. I guess missing "Hope for Wildlife" wasn't an option.

$140 / month for Shaw with extreme internet, Cable/HD with specialty channels. I will be canceling alot of those though, as I watch maybe 10% of what I pay for.
And I agree with Resolute12 - who still uses land lines? I haven't used one in 4 years.

This.
I hate having the landline, because I think its a waste of money, but the wife's insistant on having it.

I just got jacked by Shaw. After having a digital phone (all options), Mega speed internet and full cable with movie channels for $120, they raised the roof on me. After all said and done it was $199. Nope think again. I had them strip it all down and we got down to around $150 (i think). I can't believe how much they were charging for crappy movie central. JFC, $30 a month to watch the same movies over and over. The HBO will be missed, but that's what a PS3 is for.

But as all the Flames games are broadcast doesn't that mean they'd be blacked out on Centre Ice (locally)?
I'm currently paying $90 for basic HD, high speed internet and basic phone, but that's only until October. I'm going to have to look into slashing my tv down to bare essentials in October or my bill will go through the roof (probably around $170).
I could get the kids channels added for $5/month, but at that cost it would probably make more sense to just get netflix back for $8/month.
edit: After looking at the shaw bundle page it would appear it will only probably go up $20. Their base package isn't actually all that bad (includes the broadband 50 internet).

Yes people with company provided cell phones still have land lines at home. Stop asking "OMG WTF BBQ people still have land lines??????" Besides it's a whopping $20 a month for a land line.
I have:
Telus Optik TV with 1 PVR (free) and 2 HDPVR STBs (1 free, 1 reant for $10)
The You Pick HD package
Telus High speed internet
telus basic phone
===========
$94.89
I was paying over $130 for just Bell TV a few months ago.

If you are on a promo or retentions plans it would help significantly if you state that and when it expires to help others try and get it or not waste their time if it isn't available
