Just a few tidbits if anyone cares, I think the biggest thing to be teleported was a C-60, which was just for a few inches which was done at Caltech.
And just to add if anyone cares, there's another interesting but similar process called quantum cloning. Photon could probably explain this better then I could, but if that were ever achieved, it would pretty much scrap off the theory that 2 things cannot be exactly the same in the same universe. Since in quantum teleportation, the origanal gets changed when the photon is released, quantum teleportation does not prove the theory wrong, but quantum cloning could.
Quantum teleportation is definatly cool for communications and such, but I'll bet that biocomputers will breakthrough first.
