What is the deal with Giovanni Dos Santos? He typically plays so well for Mexico but he cant get a sniff with Spurs?

he's a very good player who likes to hit the clubs, his parents have been over to London 3 times since he moved over to try and set him straight

Harry told him he has a clean slate now for this season

Giggs is ridiculous for an old man. Little deflection on his goal but very nice.

Ah, so its the extracurriculars that get him into trouble.

I see Gomes got the start.

Big clubs take this competition reaaal seriously.

henrywinter
Fryers taken off, #mufc playing with 10. back four of Valencia, Carrick, Berbatov, Fabio....the most attacking back-four ever?

OliverKayTimes
Never thought I'd see MUFC play with Carrick and Berbatov at centre-half. Down to 10 men after Fryers injury but 3-0 up v Leeds and coasting

Tons of writers on twitter said the United fans (a lot of them) were chanting about Istanbul (where some Leeds fans died) and they heard nothing from the Leeds fans back about Munich.

Absolutely sick behavior by the idiots in the crowd

MOgdenTelegraph Mark Ogden
Leeds fans didn't respond with Munich chants, despite the goading.

Not good from Man Utd fans at Leeds tonight. Istanbul chants weren't isolated.

No. I didn't hear any Munich chants tonight. I expected to hear them - I always expect them here - but I heard nothing

"They started it", "what about this", "what about that". Sorry, but chanting about Istanbul, Munich, Heysel, Hillsborough is despicable

If they hadn't sunk to the gutter with despicable chants about Leeds fans killed in Istanbul, I'd have been impressed by #MUFC fans tonight

That is truly unfortunate.

Heres hoping that Liverpool put Brighton on the wrong end of a complete ass kicking today.

From remembering the Spurs game, this is a Liverpool that I've known all too well. The Liverpool that think that they're better than they are and that they dont have to work hard or prepare hard for every game because they're going to win just because they're Liverpool.

I cant believe they're slipping into this quagmire again. I was hoping that Kenny would know better and could keep that attitude away from this squad. Dont they remember how far that attitude has gotten them the past 20 years?

I sincerely hope to see a good performance today and a turnaround in the mental discipline of this team.

And the inimitable Dirk Kuyt surely seals it. Not what I was hoping for, but I've heard that this Brighton team play some tough but good football.

Also, Everton are losing to West Brom, so thats always nice.

Dammit. 89th minute equaliser. Why can I not take pleasure in Everton's failings?
