Thus we have the new weekly MuchMore series The Week That Was, hosted by Onrait, which debuts Sunday, July 24.
Onrait, best known for his work on TSN's SportsCentre, took some baby steps in the process of reinvention when he served as co-host of Olympic Morning on CTV during the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver.
In this new gig, Onrait supposedly will be talking about everything from pop culture to local news. It sounds a bit broad and vague on paper, so we'll have to see if The Week That Was coalesces into something more definable as it progresses.
Jay finds a way to say boner on TV, these guy is hands down the funniest dude on TV in Canada.
I think you missed the point. It's frigging hilarious, not because he said Boner on tv, it's frigging hilarious because he does an Alan Thicke, Growing Pains impersonation on 2010 tv.

Just watched the first episode, and I gotta say, it was pretty darn funny. There were some totally hilarious lines, and I loved the Degrassi basketball coach sketches. Also Jays nude scene and speech had me in stitches!
I have to admit though, it felt kind of awkward having literally only 5 or 6 people in the studio audience. It would have been better without any studio audience at all in my opinion. Let the jokes stand for themselves.

I think having 5-people awkwardly laughing at his jokes really added to the cringe-factor for sure. Studio audiences need to be big and rowdy, or nonexistent. A handful of random people is just weird.
I still feel most of the jokes stood on their own though. I'm betting we'll see a lot more polish in future episodes.
