+1 for Cinque Terre, but it will be mad busy during the Summer. I went there in October and lucked out with great weather - molto caldo!
An equally beautiful (and cheaper) option is Croatia. The coastline is stunning. We flew in to Zadar, drove up to Split, spent a few days there and then took an outrageously scary often cliffside drive to Dubrovnik in Spring.
Croatia is great for activity, scenic and beach vacations, but really, if you want appropriate tips, you need to give us a bit of help re: budget and interests.

Yep. The antipode for Calgary is in the Southern Indian Ocean, not too far from Madagascar. The closest inhabited point to the antipode is the Kerguelen Islands, which has a French research station.
You can find the antipode of any place on earth here: http://www.antipodemap.com/

With what? There are lots of different guns and ammunitions available. You really need to tell us more about your preferences.

I absolutely love India. Has everything. Can do to the south - Kerala, Goa etc. if you want lazy tourist luxury or hit the big cities and do sights. Just fantastic. Incredible people. Oh and the curry. I had a thali in Chennai and they just wouldn't stop bringing food.
If you want something a little closer to home then I liked Belize. Less package holiday a-holes than Mexico.

Head over to Cambodia. I was there a couple of months ago. Drive out to a military base, they will take you to the shooting range. You walk in the door and any gun you could ever want to shoot is there. There was a wall covered with uzis, tommy guns, ak-47s, m-16s, heck they even had a couple of bazookas. I was impressed and I'm not even a gun guy. First gun I ever shot was a Russian K 57 machine gun on a tripod for $50. If you really want to go all out you can buy a cow and have some fun with the bazooka, if that's your kind of thing
