It's not that it is offensive, it's that it is pathetic. The ad itself is one of the lamest ads ever. Especially the jingle.

It reflects poorly on the station IMO to air such trash. I am embarrassed to play 960 at the office now because that ad is constantly making my coworkers give me odd looks.

It must be awfully depressing to go through life taking everything so seriously.

Who said it was serious? Did anyone say they are part of some sort of letter writing campaign to get the ads pulled? Have I lost sleep over it?

What a bizarre connection you've made. I say something is hilariously pathetic and you insinuate that it is ruining my lilfe?

Jim Rome supporters give me a chuckle.

It was a joke based on personal preference, I wouldn't take it too personally.

Don't misunderstand......I'm not Anti-Jim Rome at all. I personally think the show is generally low-brow schtick mixed and people trying too hard, but that's why I don't listen. I'm sure others find it relevant and thought provoking, which is why they listen in.

I will admit that his audience size just baffles me, but Grats to him I suppose.

That sums up my thoughts quite adequately.

As for Cougarlife........

We have Stampede for 10 days each July. 10 days is more than enough Cougartime for the year. Cougars are fun, but I kinda pity anyone that makes it a lifestyle....Cougarlife is therefore irrelevant.

PS - Vlad, thanks for the suggestion. Bless you, kind sir.

Not to be a hipster and all but I was listening to him when he was tape delayed and on in the evenings on 660.

This seems to be a trend in advertising for this type of website...you should have heard ashleymadison.com's first jingle, they even had a worst jingle contest if I recall.

It's pretty smart really.

You must be not be a hockey fan.
Seeing as the only time he talks about the NHL is when a "Bertuzzi" type incident happens.

I do agree that his show has become much worse, and I usually just have it on as ambient noise in the office... but he was talking hockey non-stop throughout the finals. He actually talks about it quite a bit, especially considering it's a LA-based show.
