Broken Finger..... Suggestions?

I also too a slapshot off the thumb last night.

Although I don't think mine is broken, I will surely be losing my nail sometime soon as it went black overnight.

I took a slapshot off the side of my foot last year..... holy ####ing christ! I almost passed out on the bench it hurt so bad. Felt like my foot was going to explode. Thought for sure it was broken (as there is no way it could have possibly hurt any more) but it wasn't. Just a bone bruise. Note to self, don't turn foot in front of pucks.... ever!

And since we're on the topic of getting hit with pucks I took one of the inner thigh (no padding) busted a bunch of blood vessels that drained down my leg...... looked epic! I'll dig up a pic.

I've broken the same ankle twice, the second time I broke it, I was loaded out of my mind at a rodeo, wearing cowboy boots, and I stepped into a gopher hole and fell sideways snappping it.

My friends drove me to the hospital, and I had my first major freakout when the nurse proceeded to cut my boot off.

Then the doctor realized how drunk I was, no pain killers for you.

Then he gave my ankle a twist and I was suddenly and completely sober.

Finger Crisis Update: Seen the doctor and got some x rays, turns out my finger is broken but it was also dislocated. The doctor set it back and feared for his life when I screamed as he did so. And now my middle and index finger will be getting taped together for the next 3-5 weeks as it heals. Happy Days.

Thanks for everyones suggestions during my time of over reacting to an injury most men would have just nutted up and dealt with.

I broke my left ring finger in high school while playing football while catching the ball. My left ring was in an awkward position as I tucked the ball into my stomach. My Lefty ring finger now has a slight bent too it while the rest are straight.

It's gonna be hard for my future wife to put the ring on now I think..haha.
