I might not do the tea bag thing because I wanna sleep. But what is the benefit of tea bags other than they taste?
I believe the tannic acid in them helps you clot.

As long as you have pain killers, wonderful wonderful pain killers, you should be fine.

I remember waking up after getting them taken out, and my shoes were missing, not on my feet, under my bed, anywhere in site. It added to the confusion.

Hardcore? Wisdom teeth is nothing compared to getting in-grown toe nails operated on with minimal freezing agent.
Holy shinguard....i had the same thing. Three needles in each big toe.....pain. right into the knuckle. And then the doctor held the scalpel in one hand and the "how to" book in the other.....he sliced the outside thirds of each nail, pulled out the ingrown part with plyers, and then peeled back the skin to scrape the nail bed so the nail on the sides would not grow back. I am left with the middle third growing. My toes look fata'd up. I am not a big fan of wearing open toed sandles to say the least.....but they don't hurt anymore.

Pulled teeth....my wisdom tooth came out with zero problem (no bone breaking and yanking). I think this is why there was minimal swelling and pain afterward. [/b][/quote]
Same thing here as well....Had the in-grown toe-nail thing done three time. The first time was with some quack that literally put 20-30 points of freezing around each big toe....no joke. Hurt like hell that did and he didn't do it right. In fact he completely screwed everything up.

The second time went to a different doctor and two shots each toe...a nerve block. They hurt like hell but I could not feel anything during the surgery. The only complaint I had about that doctor is him telling me the shot was nothing more than a bee sting. Must have been one big fataing bee!

But because the first guy screwed everything up so bad they ended up having to remove the nail bed completely on each big toe the third time. That was done under general. Let me tell you when the freezing came out of that it hurt as I've never had anything hurt before or since. They removed the entire nail bed on each toe. It was weird for the first few years because anything dropped on the toe hurt a lot. After a while though the skin hardens to nearly nail tough.
