Had a great time at the Strathcona Canada Day pancake breakfast this morning. Great to see so many different folks in red and waving the flag.

Thank-you - I had a great time. The entertainment was fantastic and the street hockey was fun, especially the game between RBC and some team in red without a corporate logo. They HATED each other and it was full of aggression and cheap shots. Sadly, some girl got a high stick to her eye and it looked pretty badly cut.

In a surreal world I was able to walk up and get a beer instantly (until they ran out and all there was left was emergency Red Stripe), but had to wait in line for half an hour for a coffee!

Saw Mike Myers there - I'm not worthy...

Only regret is when I wimped out and didn't take up the offer to play wheelchair basketball with the Canadian Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team.

Oh, and I also regret sitting on my Tim Hortons donuts on the train home.

I'm showing my Canadian Pride today via my bright red sunburn I picked up today. I'm pretty sure I match the red on the flag right now.

Also, the Airdrie Canada Day parade is pretty awesome. It was more then I expected it to be.
