I want Milos to win just to see what unfolds in the 3rd round. Kind of fun to get into Canadian tennis again, been a long time for me.

Play will commence as scheduled on CC. Situation on outside courts slightly more complicated...
Kimiko Date-Krumm against Venus Williams on CC
Date-Krumm led 5-1 and now is in danger of losing the set.

Can't we just skip to the semifinals with Nadal vs Murray and Federer vs Djokovic? Those four guys are so much better than everyone else right now it's crazy!

Amazing comeback from Venus. She really pulled down deep and didn't give up.

Great Federer article from Grantland.

Watching Federer increasingly feels like looking in on something private. It's as if his game is just somewhere else, on some secret corner of the map where it can stage its weird encounter between beauty and death.

For one reason or another, no one's produced a "changing of the guard"-style moment against Federer, not even Nadal. As a result, Federer's protracted "death" would make a great career for most tennis players. It's only sad for us.

Where can I watch online? Legally, of course. Edit: Nevermind, TSN.ca.

Yeah I thought that was a little bit odd, too. Basically saying Milos should either get up and play or quit. What a jack ass.

The players know that this can happen to either guy, if you're hurt, you get a chance within the rules to have a timeout.

Raonic retires due to injury. Muller moves on to face Nadal.

Too bad.

I feel bad for Raonic. However, his health comes first. Retiring from the match is the best thing to do.

Ya - the comment about how his opponent hit a shot so great that Raonic twisted his leg getting to it so he deserved to lose if hurt was pretty pathetic, would have liked to slap the guy at that point.

Lol - didn't even know the word #ed out was a swear.

Really disappointing that Raonic went out like that. Lots of years ahead of him but ever since about the third clay tournament of the season it's been a tough year.

That really, really sucks. Was looking forward to a match vs. Nadal, just top see how he would fare.

Guess we'll have to wait until next year.

Ya pretty much, was moving one way and his opponent fired a shot the other, he tried to turn and his shoe slipped on the grass and he went down looking like bambi on ice, wasn't pretty.

Some Aussie pair commentating I think male and female - it was a secondary feed they picked up, the main feed was somewhere else.
