I have been hit into before, many times. Some times it is accidental, no problem, I have also done this to other people not seeing a cart behind a hill. Some times it is intentional, these are the ones that bug me. If someone hit into me twice on one hole the ball would be meeting the water hazard, no question about it, I have done it before.

Wow, I didn't realize that the flag was such serious, assault-worthy business.

This is why golf and alcohol should not mix.

Or, should be a mandatory combination, depending on your view.

Thrown in the bushes maybe, but I prefer hitting it right back at the tee box.

Did the OP really just describe how he assaulted a Korean guy on a golf course in a public forum?

A couple questions:

How slow were you playing? Were you still waiting on the group in front of you by the 17th or was there a good gap?

You say you have a membership, is it a fully private course, are you going to run into these guys again?

Assuming they aren't going to file any kind of complaint against you, which I assume is true, since they wanted to shake hands, I would just let this go. Can't see any good coming of it.

I'd just grab the balls they hit into you. I always find older guys to be the biggest pricks on the course.

You should have just let them play through and reported them at the club house. I guarantee the Club House would have gone Bat#### Crazy listening to this story.

Seriously if I was you those 50 year old guys would be in the hospital if they tried hitting me with a golf club. I dont care how old you are, if you try and assault me I will defend myself and knock you out.

has to be one of the craziest golf stories i have ever heard - fortunately nobody was hurt (although your 3 wood is injured).

seems to me that if this group was really paying attention they would have been able to see that it was the group ahead causing the logjam.......

I simply lack the gene that would compel me to escalate a situation like that or use violence against another person on the golf course. Maybe if someone did something to my family, that might be enough to hulk out and get physical but over golf?

Even after someone fires a golf ball at your head and swings a 7 iron at you? What other genes do you lack?

I totally thought I was going to get Rick Rolled at the end of that story. Pretty awesome you went for the jugular. You would do well in the wild.
