I picked up the Broil King Mnoarch 20 (
http://www.barbecuesgalore.ca/cooking.bpsx?CookingID=1) about 5 years ago from Barbeques Galore and have been very happy with it. The cover it came with didn't last through a couple of winters so I tossed that and just leave it out in the open all year round. More convenient anyhow since we have a small balcony and the bbq cover gets in the way.
Like one poster said, I am also having trouble getting it pre-heated to anything higher than 500F. I know burgers and everything cook okay still, but some of the recipes are hard to follow - i.e. preheat to 700F and then turn down to medium. What does that mean if I can't get it to 700F to begin with?
Anyway, I also picked up a small portable one from Costco (
http://reviews.costco.ca/2070-en_ca/...onTime&dir=asc) for camping. It was about $50, and it works okay but the handles on the side are not very sturdy. Grease and burnt crud also seem to fall out easily, which I learned the hard way after putting it back in the car following a picnic.
