I think a lot of the time, alcohol is a factor. When you're drinking, you tend to throw caution to the wind. And let's be honest here... condom sex is crappy sex. I can't speak for women, but for guys, it really takes away from it. Might as well masturbate. Especially if you already have kinky appetites, the last thing you want is to diminish the sensation.
So you're so drunk that you can't remember to put a condom on, yet still capable of feeling the difference between condom and non-condom sex?
That must be some kinda magic whisky you have there.
Always use condoms unless you are in a stable, monogamous relationship in which both partners have been tested at the 3 month mark of the relationship.
Condoms provide good protection against HIV, but only partial protection against the bacterial infections, which can be transmitted skin to skin, and provide almost no protection against herpes and HPV.
Chances are, you are totally safe if you wrapped it up during a random encounter. If you're afraid of something, go after 6 weeks, if you can't wait (which is sort of the bottom line for HIV testing). Otherwise, just wait for the 3 month mark and get tested for total peace of mind. This stuff is pretty serious, even though the risks are low, people do get infected with HIV and the other STIs.

It's not a matter of remembering. It's a matter of being able to make sound decisions once impaired. I can't be the only one that worries a little less about STDs after a few drinks.
And yeah, of course you can still tell the difference even after a few drinks.

Just ask them and be serious about it. I know you want to get laid and all but it's not worth getting HPV or herpes because you're lazy.
