Spectacular quality improves almost everything about these movies. The initial release felt too washed out for my tastes.

I don't care how great the CGI looks, but I want to see details, colors pop, better black levels - there is a ton they can do to make these discs look better.

I think in some scenes the high definition makes the bad CGI more noticeable.

But for the scenes with little-no CGI I agree, there is a big improvement.

You guys think these movies have bad CGI?

For movies which are like 6+ years old now, the CGI is pretty damn good.
