Jayems, I have used wordpress to build my site and I have to agree, their support forum helped me. The themes are are elegant but not too flamboyant. Good luck with your site!

I just used godaddy.com to set up my domain and email address.
I found putting up the website very easy. in fact, we just uploaded it this morning.

I exclusively use those other browsers as does 25% of web surfers. If you feel that excluding 25% of people is not that important, I would question your business sense.
