It would have been more meaningful if they actually made the cover on the basis of their careers and their impact and contribution to music; and not some American Idol-esque internet competition. I also don't buy that being from Saskatoon made them some kind of underdogs in this competition. Radio stations all over the country have been promoting them pretty hard for the past few months. I wonder how many of the other bands had that kind of support.
I guess print media needs to try and stay competetive somehow though.
