The passive aggressor describes a lot of girls I had on facebook. Hilarious.
Facebook was great when I got it to get in contact with friends from high school, as I moved out of province, but rapidly lost its appeal for me. I deleted it a few months ago and haven't had a second thought since.

I've often debated dumping Facebook, but the pros outweigh the cons for me. I have family all around the world, and it's great keeping up on photos of everyone.
With a little bit of management (friend lists, permissions, deletions from newsfeeds, privacy settings) I can keep the drama to a minimum.

The Block feature is your friend, and a highly under-utilized service.
Ex-girlfriend? Block.
Ex-girlfriend's friends? Block (unless they're hot).
People you delete who keep requesting you to be their friend? Block.
People with annoying status updates that you don't talk to? Delete. Then, block.
I've found more enjoyment these days deleting people and performing ninja-like blocks on those types listed above than I have actually using Facebook for what it's actually meant for. I don't care if its crass, either. I actually hang out with the people on FB that I truly give a crap about.

Don't you just love some people making their Facebook profile picture about you, trashing you and making fun of you? Some people need to get a life, and if they have a problem with me tell me to my face! UGH!

I wonder if it has to do with the friend suggestions that appear? I remove somebody, next day they have me as a suggestion because we have 20 friends in common.

Mutual friends, tagged photos... sometime you notice, sometimes you don't.

Obviously, pathetic losers are the only ones who would notice missing friends. What losers they are.
I'm out having sexy parties every night so I certainly wouldn't notice.

True, but I looked through those once and haven't since.
Luck of the draw I guess.

Haha oh that's a 100% billy guarantee. If I used the Infant Profile one as my pic I can pretty much promise you my wall would be filled with some pretty nasty comments.
idk what anyone else's fb experience is like, but in the last year or 2 it really seems to have become just a girl's place. I'd say almost none of the guys I have on there really post anymore (myself included), the only comments I really see on my news page is girls. Like drunken pre-game pics of them model posing, with supportive comments underneath by girl-friends like "you're lookin smokin, chicka!". That or excessive status updates, either with how today's going to rock if you think positive-type messages, or the Passive Aggressor thing. fb really sucks lately, don't even know why I'm still on there.

The best feature on Facebook are those custom friends lists you can make and select what stuff they can see you post and also limit them from posting on your wall.
My family is the type to get all offended when you won't add them so I add them and block them from seeing anything I post and do not allow them to post to my wall. They are added and I don't have to hear about their stuff and have them passing around what I say on it.
I also have a list like that for friends that I've added that only play games so that I can spam the hell out of their walls with my games and leave the rest of my friends oblivious to my gaming accomplishments.

Many of those gamers don't care because they've created a 2nd account just to play those games. Probably because many of them don't know how to create the lists/groups...
