Perhaps that should be a clue.

our brains are smart, and if they go through experiences that would lead them to believe in GOD, then they will believe in GOD. So the brain realizes spirituality or a sense of something greater than itself. mankind twists things to suit its own purposes, creating religion, but it is based off a belief in GOD(s) (in most cases at least). it's no surprise this thread was created by Cheese though. If people want to believe GOD exists (which I do) that's fine
Tell a story enough times, and people will start believing it. It's really not that hard to imagine that perhaps this dude named Jesus really did exist, and he did get tortured by the Romans. But he was most likely just that. Some ordinary dude. His rebirth can be a total fabrication, and people will still believe it. I mean, some people believe Tupac, Michael Jackson, and Elvis are chilling on some island somewhere laughing at us poor schmucks for believing they're dead. If I were to put that in writing, does that all of a sudden make it true?

Now that you mention it....but seriously, I seem to recall a very similar thread, that the majority of the subject matter in this thread would fit nicely into....

Is that the one from the other day, or the one way back where Satan lowballed someone on their CRV?

Rom 1:18-25 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
